The New Wabash Bridge, built over the piers of the old, is a structural steel framework for eclectic urbanization across the Monongahela River. It loses its bigness by having each 60' bay become a unique work of architecture. Where the spectacle of Downtown is the collection of buildings, likewise is the spectacle of this bridge.
