About
My approach to architecture is similar to the approach I take to life. It is important to understand and respond to global issues, but life and architecture should have some kind of distinct local identity. I love traveling, visiting, and adapting to life in new places. Each place I have lived or visited has left a distinct impression on me. However, I will always have a heart for my home in western Pennsylvania.

My favorite way to get around town is on the two wheels of my modernized ’79 Schwinn World Sport bicycle. On a nice day off, I enjoy escaping the city and riding or running around and getting lost in the countryside.
I love the city and want to be a part of the process of living in a way and creating architecture which transforms our built environment into one that is delightful for people.
